Introduction
Dr. R. N Mittal, a true visionary could foresee the need of food storage in the
coming time, especially for the products having a low shelf life. He not only
wanted to make a one stop storage for food products but also wanted to meet the
needs of the farmers and traders at a reasonable cost.
This vision of Dr. R N Mittal led to the birth of Raghunandan Industries (P) Ltd in
1997 with a cold storage facility of 5600 MT capacity. With the passage of time
the capacity doubled to 11200 MT in the year 2003.
The aim behind the idea was to provide a storage facility for storing the products
like- Onion, Carrots, Lemon, Litchis, Grapes etc., with keeping their natural
freshness and quality intact, which otherwise was not possible for the farmers and
traders to achieve. This aim led to the development of Raghunandan Cold Chember
LLP with one of the best food storage technologies.
