Ans.2 At present the company is dealing in the storage of foods and vegetables. Since 20 years down the line, the company has stored products like potatoes, onions and various other vegetables. Apart from this the company also stores a variety of cereals, pulses and other edibles.

In future, the company is planning to store high value commodity like litchis, lemons and other products. The company has built up a frozen storage capacity of 1500 metric ton, which is planned to store other edible products that are frozen like frozen samosas etc.

The company will also deal in the storage of seeds which provides it a competitive edge as no other vendor in North India is providing this facility.

Ans.3 The location is very much convenient to the customers.
It is currently located at National Highway-3, which is approximately 43 kilometers away from Agra and 50 kilometers away from Gwalior. Thus, it is ideally suitable for the customers to avail the services.

This means that whenever any product is moving from North to South or vice-versa it will cross the cold storage.

The cold storage also has connectivity to two other highways where one connects Agra to Mumbai and the other one goes to Jaipur.

Ans.4 The company has collaboration with various collateral agencies or organizations like NBFCs, Edelweiss, StarAgri etc. and tie-ups with banks to provide the facility of finance to its customers.

The company also has other sources of finance available for the customers to meet their needs.

Secondly, as far as transportation is concerned, the company has collaboration with various transportation agencies. These transportation companies will take care of the needs of the customers while transporting both frozen and normal temperature goods.

Ans.5 The cold storage has the storage chambers of different capacities ranging from 50 metric tons to 2000 metric tons, where temperature variations are also taken care of.

The company has 4 chambers of 50 metric tons, 3 chambers of 300 metric tons, 1 chamber of 600 metric ton and 3 chambers of 2000 metric tons . The total storing capacity provided by the company is 10,000 metric tons. The temperature of the chambers is adjusted according to the needs of the customers.

It is noticed that the competitors are providing a limited number of chambers for the storage of goods. As a result when all the products are stored in the same chamber there are high chances of decay and deterioration in quality. In case of F12 customers as per their requirement can take an entire chamber or keep the products in the same chamber in such a way that one product does not affect the quality of the other product.

Also, there is a capacity of 1500 metric ton available for the storage of frozen foods.

Ans.6 Yes, there is a separate chamber with a capacity of 1500 metric tons for the storage of frozen products the temperature of which can be set as per the requirement of the customers.

Ans.7 The company has tested the storage of onion to provide this facility to the customers and has been successful in it.

Traditionally the storage of onion is done in open shed which causes a lot of wastage. But, F12 has a completely new technology in the form of box storage for the storage of onions.

These box storages have set up high quality of air flow and dehumidifiers as per the international standards to maintain the quality of the onions stored there.

F12 is the first North Indian Cold Storage company to provide the facility of successfully storing onions with proper designed and structured chambers for the same.

Ans.8 The company believes is complete transparency and to match this up it provides an online monitoring facility to its customers.

Through this facility the customers can view and keep a check on the temperature and other parameters for the products kept by them in the chambers of cold storage.

The customers are given high flexibility for controlling the various parameters. All the technology is completely automated through automated machines.

Ans.9 Currently there is no problem with the power but still there is a backup plan for this.

The cold storage is completely based on power and thus the company has two DG sets available with it. The capacity of these DG sets is enough to run an entire chamber in case of power failure.

Apart from this, the company also has solar power backup facility, with a solar power plant of 200kw installed for supporting the cold storage.

Ans.10 Yes, the cold storage has the conveyor facility. The main focus of the company is to save time by minimizing the time used in the process of loading and unloading the products so that the customers do not have to wait for long.

Ans.11 Yes, the company has a special facility for storing processing varieties of potatoes.

Potatoes are usually stored for long term and the company has a completely different technology for storing them so as to prevent their wastage in long term. This would give a good edge to the customers by keeping the potatoes in good quality and selling them at a good price.

Ans.12 F12 is different from other cold storages on the following parameters:

• The company provides cooling facility for all kinds of perishable goods like fruits, vegetables, spices, tamarind, dry fruits and other allied products.
• The company takes special care to maintain suitable temperature and required relative humidity and air flow for storing fruits and seeds by storing each of them in dedicated chambers.
• The company uses humidifiers and dehumidifiers as per the requirement of the product where the humidity can be reduced to as low as 45% for the products that need to be kept in low humidity.
• The company believes that infrastructure is the backbone of a Cold Storage and hence ensures a 24*7 security. There is yard by yard CCTV coverage.
• A real-time monitoring or online access is given to the customers. There is therefore complete transparency maintained.
• F12 is the largest operating Cold Storage in the area for over 2 decades.
• The cold storage is completely automated with no human intervention. As a result of this the quality of the products kept is much better.
• Apart from temperature and humidity the company takes care of two more parameters i.e., Co2 and air flow in a fully automated manner resulting in keeping the quality of products intact.
• Separate capacity of 1500 metric ton for storage of frozen food products.
• The company provides a new technology of Box storage for successful storage of onion which is provided only by F12 and this reduces the wastage of onion.
